LOL. Got to be some kind of necro posting record.

read the first five or so posts before realizing how old this thread is. Didn't notice till I read one of the posts that said Powerbook and wondered if the poster made a mistake.

Hi from sunny?? Cornwall, in the family we now have an 27inch iMac, a 13 inch MacBook pro, 2 iPads, an old iPod classic, 1 iPhone 4s and my new iPhone 5c is due to arrive on Monday. Since getting the Macs about 6 months ago I've only switched on my desktop PC twice! Once you get the hang of it the Mac OS is so much easier, especially with the help of this forum!

Essex man

I live and work in a little village called Rivenhall End, between Chelmsford and Colchester in Essex. Have been using Macs for ages now, but still stumble over unexpected anomalies.
I have a six year old iMac running 10.6.8 and have recently lost the ability to scroll with the central button mouse; open email attachments without saving them and, quite recently, receiving unwanted popups telling me 75 contacts need syncing, none of which I can do. Any help out there?

Thanks nickyr. I've been rubbin' and rollin' for the past five minutes, without response, so I better jump in the car and head for Currys I guess. Nice try, I appreciate it.

Welcome aboard.
Let's see the screen name born_to_hula and location East London. Not a combination I was expecting. There must be a story there somewhere.
