Recently I purchased an iPad from BestBuy and everything works great except it seems like every time i put it down and pick it up later in a few hours I have to log back into my internet access point.

This happens 2-3 times a day, anyone else?

This is a known issue and I believe that Apple has actually agreed that there is a problem. Fix? Unknown....

Actually, I found this...

If you encounter this issue, try the following:
Create separate Wi-Fi network names to identify each band. This can be done easily by appending one or more characters to the current network name. (Example: Add a G to the 802.11b/g network name and an N to the 802.11n network name.)

Ensure that both networks use the same security type (WEP, WPA, WPA2, and so on)

If the issue persists, reset your network settings using Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.

We have VZ FiOs and they network guy never used one of our notebooks to set up the wireless... How could I go about getting this done?
