ATI Radeon 3870 HD 512MB MAC

Anyone know where i can find this video card for sale?

Ive looked everywhere and still can not find one, I ended up purchasing the

Visiontek radeon HD 3870 but that card does not work in the Mac Pro its a PC only card

Maybe even something close to that price range $200 that's a 512 card PCI Express

You're right...these cards are hard to find. These online websites may not be the most recognizable...but two options to consider:

Radeon HD3870 512Mb PCIe

ATI Radeon HD3870 512Mb PCIe 100-435928

Also...I would not normally recommend "flashed" cards...but here's a person selling one on e-Bay:

No I haven't...but if you REALLY want this video card...there aren't many other choices.

Order by credit card. If you have a problem, and the online store doesn't resolve it to your satisfaction, then contact your credit card company & dispute the transaction.

If everything goes well with the purchase...then you're good to go!

You haven't really explained:

- what your going to use the card for?
- why you need it?
- Will this be your primary video card, or a 2nd in the Mac Pro?
- And what model Mac Pro you have. Not all "Mac Pro" video cards are compatible with all model Mac Pros.

Its going to be a main card for a brand new Mac Pro, Going to use Final Cut 2 and thats about it

Mac Pro 8-Core just bought it, It has the Geforce GT 120 512 I was looking for something a step up from that.Looking to spend up to $300

I think that the GeForce 8800 GT is supposed to be better than the GT 120...also check compatibility with new Mac Pro's.

Of course the 4870 is also available...but is about $50 higher than your budget:

By the way...did you purchase & receive the Mac Pro yet? If not...why not try the GT 120 with Final Cut to see how things work before getting a different video card?

Ive got a Mac Pro 3.1 sitting around with no video card, I already have the NEW 8-core and i was going to take the GeForce 120 and put that in the Late 08 Mac Pro and get a new one for the Mac Pro 4.1 I really need to order something today I just do not know what to get and I do not want the wrong one again...

I read that the geforce 8800 only works on older Intel's 1.1 that true?

So is my only choice the:
