I'm completely stumped, and I'm not really seeing this issue being discussed too much when searching on Google. I'm obsessed with checking weather, it's pretty high on my priorities among checking email and RSS feeds. So this is really testing my nerves.
I'm having issues with the Safari weather extensions: 1-Click Weather for Safari by The Weather Channel and Cloudy. I prefer The Weather Channel extension being that icons are more detailed and plentiful.
For the sake of testing, I've installed both extensions. When I launch Safari, both icons display correctly. However, after closing the window of Safari and making a new window, none of the extensions refresh to display the correct weather nor temperature. The problem is only corrected, if I quit Safari and relaunch it.
So far, I've cleared out my cache, reset Safari, verified and repaired permissions, and deleted my .plist file with no result in sight. This happens on both my Macs. I know there are other options for checking weather, but in-browser extensions are my preferred means of checking the weather.
