I'm sorry if this has been addressed before..this is the first time I've ever owned an iPhone. (awaiting the 4s's delivery) I'm a bit OCD, and that includes the need to constantly clean my phone. I've never given a second thought to using a Clorox or Lysol wipe on my Blackberry, but with the iPhone, I'm concerned about the touchscreen. I've seen other suggestions about ways to "clean" the phone, but they seem to be mainly geared towards fingerprints, dust, etc. I'm wanting to actually clean it. Any suggestions would be appreciated...hopefully it's not a lost cause. Thanks.

I use my eyeglass cleaner with microfiber cloth. But the best actual cleaner I've used was the brand "Monster".

Do you spray a disinfectant on it as well? I'm not really concerned with fingerprints, etc.

I would avoid anything with citrus, and or bleach. Use a disinfectant wipe or spray. Don't spray directly on the device. Spray onto the micro fiber cloth.

Over cleaning it will help quicken the loss of the oleo phobic coating it has to help prevent smudges etc.

As mentioned in an earlier post its best to use a micro fibre cloth.

Once a week i use a sift artists brush to gently clean the ports.

Don't use compressed air !
