Urgent. I need a new Mac Laptop or an Apple Desktop under $700?

Oh my God....
My old MAC just died and I need a new replacement really quick for school. My dad won't go more than $700.

Please Help recomended

The only brand new Mac's available for $700 or under are:

- an entry level Mac-Mini
- a refurbished 11" MacBook Air (a bit more than $700)

Refurbished 11.6-inch MacBook Air 1.3GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 - Apple Store (U.S.)

Other than this you're talking used. And this is when you need to start looking at eBay and Craig's List.

You dropped it in the swimming pool?

You threw it out the window and a bus ran over it.

Or something inexpensive, like the hard drive died - about $100 fix.
