Hello everyone,

I read somewhere that in safari, when you are private browsing even then your visits to certain websites are still saved. Can anyone tell me how to completely get rid off the history in safari? Other than that, I have yahoo messenger and whenever I type a certain ID, my display picture appears and since I first sign in as invisible so thats why that also appears on the screen when I write the ID. Where can I delete the history of my IDs?

I'd really appreciate your help and support.

Thank you.

In Safari you go into the file menu and click the Reset Safari tab, it then gives a pop up with options on what to reset. Clear the lot and you'll be ok.
I can't answer about messenger as I don't use it.

Most likely the Yahoo Messenger data will be stored in a location similar to, but perhaps not exactly like.

In addition to the method suggested above:

History Menu > Clear History

Maybe a super geek could still find where you've been, but most Mom's (wives, girlfriends, bosses, etc.) are not that techno-savvy. ;)

I'm no super geek.... but, you will find in user/library/preferences/macromedia/flash player.... a lot of info that will surprise you!

I had no idea of this until it was pointed on this forum!
