Hello everyone,

I have an old ipod nano which i setup and registered on a family members computer ages ago with their apple ID. My question is: Is their any way i can transfer the music on my old ipod nano on to my own itunes library (so i could then transfer that music on to my new ipod touch)?

i would imagine this is somehow possible but if not, whats the next best alternative?

Be aware that if that music still has the old Apple DRM on it, it won't play on unregistered devices.

You can upgrade the files to the newer (better-sounding and) DRM-free versions for 30¢ per song via iTunes. Good deal IMHO.

So I guess iTunes itself doesn't have an option anywhere to do this?

I will checkout those links and hopefully it works.

Thanks for sharing.
