Your Mac's Specs
IMAC 27", 8gb mem, 2.8ghz, I7, elgato netstream
Am new at forums. Looking at buying IMAC i7, 8gb mem and wondering about hybrid (analog+digital) tv tuners. Was considering the elgato, but support seems to be non-existant, and over heating probs, or just doesn't work. Help.

I have two monitors hooked up to my Mac Pro. Sometimes on one monitor I will be doing work, internet surfing, e-mails...and on the 2nd monitor I will have the Elgato playing a TV program...which I may be "watching" or not.

So the answer is yes...the Elgato TV hardware/software can play TV for hours!:)

Elgato is really the leader for TV on a Mac...so there really is not too much else to choose from.

It's almost like you got Elgato and you have Elgato!;)

Do you know anything about Elgato diversity, and ability to record and watch tv at the same time?

- Bruce :)

The answer is yes. Here's the LINK to the ElGato web site. It's loaded with good info. They even have a user's forum.

Regards.
