Sports: Hockey and sports you never get to watch outside of the Olympics (which is most of them).
Countries: Underdog countries and really small delegations. Looking at the medal count from the 2006 games, I would have been cheering for Australia (1 gold, 1 bronze last time around).

I live in Vancouver and the buzz is getting CRAZY...it's gonna be a fun couple of weeks. My condo is right next to the Slovak house and blocks away from many event sites. I am pretty excited about it :)

Lebanon (I'm Half canadian, half lebanese) has 3 athletes competing in skiing, so I'll cheer for them even though their likelihood of medaling in their events is slim to none :)

I have lots of friends coming from all over canada, we'll watch some hockey, speed skating and curling!

That's not an option because you should be interested. ;)

He an Aussie, they don't have winter sports!

I will watch as much as I can ,but not easy due to the time differences. Luckily I get home early from work.

I'll watch some of the events, I'm glad that Fios is doing it on demand.

Not only are we politically correct we now are being told what we should be watching on the idiot box? Surely if we are going to conduct meaningful, life predicting polls all options must be covered?

I think it's safe to assume that "The Winter Olympics are soon???" represents your distaste of the Winter Olympics. ;)

EDIT: Evidently I don't type enough. Good thing speed typing isn't a game.

Nice. I wanted to go see it on Parliament Hill when it was here (I live really close to the Hill) but I ended up not going as I couldn't find anyone to go with me.

I know I'll follow the Hockey games. Other than that, not so much.

They can have the snow we've gotten since last night. Started around midnight and still coming down. I'm around 60 and this is the most snow I've seen personally my whole life.

Yep we really dont know what snow is in this country. Mind you we still have a 6 medal chance this year. Skeleton, Snow Boarding and our two great girls in the Arial Skiing.
Now i find it hard to add the 1gold from the previous Olympics to our cabinet. Yes he did win Gold in the speed skating but only BC the others fell.
Now down here if you win something your not expected to they say "You Are Doing a Bradbury" lol

w00t! Zorro with the torch!

Thats pretty cool Zorro ... Did you actually run with it ??
