Where the coolng fans ? where the intake ? wheres the vents ? the exhast ?

How is this solid block of metal keeping cool lol ?

Well one thing is it's not a solid block of metal. The Unibody construction is just made from a solid block of aluminum.

As far as cooling...the Unibody MBP stays cool just like any other laptop...the fans turn on, cooling air is drawn in, and hot air is exhausted out.

If you think your MBP is a "solid block of metal" (where nothing gets in or gets out)...fill your bathtub with water & toss your MacBook Pro in. I can guarantee you it will fill up with water in a hurry...and your computer will be permanently damaged!!!

If water can get into your MBP...then cooling air can get in...and hot air can get out!!!:)
