Hey, I just recently got a new TV for Christmas, but I was wondering what cord would I have to buy in order to hook my MacBook to it? My MacBook has a Mini-DVI port on it, but I know that my TV doesn't have a DVI port on it. So what would be better to get, VGA or S-Video? And, after getting one of these, do I have to buy another cord for Audio and if so, what cord is it that I would need to get?
Here's what is said it has for Inputs from the Future Shop site:

Inputs/Outputs:
A/V (Composite) Inputs 1 - Rear
Component Video Inputs 1 - Rear
HDMI Inputs 1 - Rear
Headphone Jack 1 - Side
PC Audio Inputs 1 - Rear
PC VGA Inputs 2 - Rear
S-Video Inputs 1 - Rear

Any suggestions at all? Is it better for me to buy a Mini DVI to VGA, or Mini DVI to S-Video?

I want the video on TV is so I can quality control colors. My MacBook Pro has Mini DVI output. The TV has both RCA and S-Video inputs. Assuming they exist, do I want to use RCA or S-Video adapters?

I use the $19 apple adapter via S video. But you have both options(RCA/S-video) with that adapter.

I have something similar to the above - the mini DVI to VGA, simply because I already had a VGA cable for linking my old laptop to my tv.

I would choose the VGA or HDMI over an Svideo connector as it will give better picture quality.

Both VGA and svideo are picture signal only, so you will need some RCA leads (3.5mm jack to RCA) or an optical lead to connect to TV or amplifier.
