I just received my iPhone today, from Rogers. When I took the protective film off, it left some stains behind on the glass and on the casing. I can't remove them with the cloth that comes with it, or the one that came with my iPod Touch. I even tried thick suede. Nothing.

Anyone have suggestions on how to successfully remove the stains without damaging the iPhone? Has anyone received a less that perfectly finished iPhone? The sealer - the black stuff in between the aluminum casing and the glass - isn't quite flush.

Concerning the stains, they are not sticky.

Thank you!

Have you tried rubbing alcohol? That should remove any residue-like substance.

My first iPhone's screen wasnt flush when I ordered mine launch day. Called apple up and they sent me a new one.

As for the residue try a little water on a microfiber cloth should rub it off.
