My Mac Lion Launchpad has an app called MACUI . Does not appear to do anything and I am not sure how it got there. Anybody know what it is? Thanks in advance.

Its also part of Akami, which is installed by BBC iPlayer and Adobe CS5 amongst other things

I got it also with the Adobe Lightroom trial download.
