Vishal,

I would just send it to the trash can and re-download and re-install Stuffit.

Vishal,

Sorry I misunderstood... But couldn't you do the same thing with the repair tool? Trash it than re-install it? Sometimes a clean install will do wonders.

I tried to find a url for a Stuffit File Repair Tool, but kept coming up with RAR Repair Tool, don't think that's the same thing. Do you have have the File Repair Tool dmg file? If so, I would just re-install it and go from there, hope it works.

Good luck, Noel

Probably there is no repair tool for corrupted Stuffit files.

Regards,
Like most file openers, Stuffit can only open what it is given. That said, it means you'd have to go back to the source for the compressed file and re-download it. If you used RAR, there are RAR repair programs...

There is a Mac tool called unRARx, but not even sure it would work with the RAR repair tool, but you could give it a try.
