Hi everyone .. this's my 1st Thread here ..

& I'v been thinking to move from Windows to Mac .. & everytime I go to buy

a Mac I change my mind .. it's not the cost .. but .. some isuses such as :

1- The Language Support .. Considering my language is a Right Language ..&

I dont mean that changing the interface screen to be in my own language ..

it's just that does it

support everything in my langugae such as Photoshop CS5 ( I know there is

Photoshop ME .. Middle East ) but in some how maybe there is an issue with

my Language .. Plus ..

Office 2011 .. I know there is no support for the language that starts from

the Right .. However .. I don't care about the Language right now coz I use

the office for my reports in

School in ENG Language .. so for the time being ,, doesn't matter right

now .. but maybe in the future .. Plus some websites in my language ,, cos i

saw a friend writing in a

websites in my language ,, and the letters were separated .. ( My Language's

letters are connected ) ..

2- for the reason above .. i can figure it out with them .. but for this

reason .. which is .. The Lifespan for Mac ?????????

it's the last thing that prevented me from moving to Mac ...

I heared from some macusres .. that .. this year .. there are problems with

the laptops .. heating .. noising coz of fan .. doesn't live for long time .. max

for 3 years .. and

hopefully 5 years .. and so on ..

so .. if i think deeply .. if i want to buy a macbook pro .. 15 inches .. i7 ..

which it gonna cost me at least $ 2000 .. and it won't live for long ..

wt's the benefit from moving from Windows to Mac ??

Plz .. Advise me .. ( Sorry for my weak Language hhh )

thnks guys

Welcome to the forum ... Life span of a Mac can vary as with any product out in the real world. Then again some members here are using 7yr old macs and some have older Macs.
It will also depend on how you treat it, how often you use it, where you use and things of similar nature. I think buying a Mac could last you 5yrs and there are alot on here with 3yr old Macs........
But remember in the end they are still only a Electronic device and PC .....

Cheers

Are you more concerned with the life span or the ability to use your native language effectively? What is your native language (it might help in determining the feasibility of a Mac for you)?
