Would you mind citing a source for that? I have read it is 2 people a second, with 5 being born every second.

Way... way too many specs to list.
In the US alone, there is a death every 13 seconds and a birth every 7. I'd say worldwide, since I have to extrapolate here, that if someone dies every 7 seconds someones born every 4.

WikiAnswers say 4.4 are born every second worldwide but doesn't give death rates. The numbers I quoted above were from Yahoo Answers.
