I keep my MBP connected to monitor when at my desk. Due to how the antena is built, if I keep the lid closed I get almost no connection. Short of always having to leave it open, or buying a USB Wifi dongle, what can I do. Apple sells: Twelve South BookArc Desktop Stand for Notebooks - Apple Store (U.S.). With the lack of bad reviews, on this or any other site it's sold I can assume this fixes the wifi problem. Does anybody know if it does?

Details:My MBP was the newest model in September of 2009, it was the first generation of alum unibodies
