What photo application is being used in this image of the macbook? it looks a bit like Adobe lightroom (the color) but I dont recognise the layout and it looks really good.

Oh yeah; It is just iPhoto with an image selected and set to full screen and then click View / Show Toolbar.

Well spotted by my fellow Apple owning Bristol based member ;D

Yep; It is iPhoto in full screen edit. You can make editing full screen in iPhoto>iPhoto Dropdown menu>Preferences>General>4th Option Down>Dropdown Menu>Using Full Screen.

I concur, it is iphoto.

Nice photograph as well. I wonder what camera was used.

I'm in South Bristol - Whitchurch.

Yeah popped into the new store a few days after it opened. So nice to have one finally! Spent an hour just wandering around. Didn't end up buying anything though... :\
