Hey Guys,

I want to sell my iPad white 64GB 4th gen., but when I tried to post in the Buy/Sell/Trade forum, it says I don't have access to that.

Is it a question of how long I've been here and how many posts I've made, or something else?

We intentionally, don't post requirements for Buy/Sell/Trade forum because some in the past have tried to game the system.

FWIW I recently sold an iPad2 and original iPad Mini through Amazon using their trade in system. I got a decent price on both and no hassle.

I usually sell my used Apple products at, of all places, a militaria collector's forum (they have an "other" for sale section). I was going to try here, though, because I changed my e-mail address at the other forum and there is a glitch that canceled my premium membership there. Waiting on the admin to fix it now.

Just for future reference......if I were to become a premium member here, would that open up the B/S/T forum to me?

Thanks for the reply.

BST eligibility depends on several factors which we do not announce to the public for obvious reasons. Premium Membership does not automatically qualify someone for BST access.

In the meantime, we suggest using eBay, Craig's List, or your local newspaper's for sale pages.

Let's use an extreme example. A brand new member could be a Premium Member on day 1 of their experience with Mac-Forums. I hardly think that this brand new person would be a good candidate for posting in the B/S/T.

So no…being a Premium Member does not get automatic access.
