mbp15inch, 2.2 ghz quad core, 512 mb video ram, 4gb ram/ Imac 21inch 2010
I have the late 2011 base 15 inch mbpro. I have the 4 stock gigs installed currently. I am a editor, so what brand of ram is the based I would prefer to go 8 gb, but if 16 is a possibility and not that expensive i would do that.

I have owc in one of my iMacs and Komputer Bay in my iBooks and MacBook pro and PowerBook. Both of them are good companies with good service and support.
