Did it come with any software or was it just a bare drive?

It looks like you're still running OS 9, chances are your OS version doesn't have driver support for it. If it didn't come with a driver disc, you're probably out of luck.

OS 9 works fine with CD-Rs. Have you got version 9.2?

I have OS 9.2.2, the drive reads things okay (I just played an audio cd in it, then I ran my hardware test cd, and it worked fine). The drive came with no software. Any ideas?

Thanks again.
