CINEBENCH Ver: R11.5

Thanks for replying pigoo3,

I have run the test's and this is the result.
Not sure if this is good or bad. I have only had this machine for a month now and find it to be a little slow. I need to try and do some tests before i can get in touch with apple,
Just in case the machine is fine.

Sorry to hear that you think that your Mac is slow! Your 21.5" 3.06ghz iMac is a brand new currently shipping model iMac...so it really shouldn't be slow...unless you are doing tasks on it that maybe would be better done on a Mac Pro.

If you suspect that you have a problem...take advantage of your 12 month warranty...and take it to the Apple guys & have them check it out. Hopefully you don't live too far from your nearest Apple Store.

Good luck,

- Nick

I don't begin to understand what that displayed data means, and the question needs to be asked ... what, exactly, or in more detail, do you find "slow" about your iMac, eg. on what processes?

If you were editing videos, at the same time doing graphic-intensive work with P'Shop, plus scanning photographs, then for sure your iMac would start to labour. A Mac Pro would sneeze at that, but then it's got far greater resources.
