How Do I Rename a Folder?

This is a bit rediculous to be asking, but I did a search and only found something called Automator as being the resource for renaming a file... Um.. if this is correct, please let me know how to use the program.

I have folders that require renaming for storage and search purposes.

This is NOT a batch rename, just a single file/folder rename.

Custom PC
Select the folder you want re-named, hit the Enter or Return key, change name, hit Enter or Return again.

To rename something, just click it, wait a couple seconds, then click it again, then the name of the file will turn into a text field and you rename it.

mouse: select the file/folder, then click the name once
keyboard shortcut: Return

Windows
mouse: select the file/folder, then click the name once
keyboard shortcut: F2

or single click on the folder wait a second then click it again and start renaming your folder

The difference is that on a PC you can right click > Rename.
