I have tried (without success) to have my Quicksilver, upon startup, to boot from the CD. I have held down the "C" key during startup but no success - it just boots up as normal. I must be missing something.

Well for starters... are you certain it's a bootable cd?

You can also try holding down the OPTION key when rebooting. Doing so will give you a list of all bootable volumes on the computer, including bootable CDs.

Thanks - knew about the "C" but did not know about the Option key - that showed me they sent me the wrong CD's - they are for pc's not Macs.
