Looks as though Tiger has a 320GB pata you should be able to use

I had no problems with the 120GB WD drive I put in my 1.33GHz iBook last year ... but Sold it not long after that.

Leopard ... 10.5 will run fine on it depending on your memory config ...
always the more the better... but if mem serves right they will only go up to 1.5GB ...
512 embeded and 1GB stick .. pc2700 mem
Snow Leo will only run on Intel.... not G4 PPC's
