When a "Numbers" file is sent by e-mail and opened in iPad, I am asked whether I want to open the file in "Numbers" and if I chose to do so, I am able to edit this file.

Why is this not possible with "Pages"?
How can I get a "Pages" filke into my iPad so that I can work with it?

Thank you for your ideas.

You need to purchase the iOS version of Pages. Pages on your Mac can not open a Pages file on your iPad or iPhone.

Thank you for your answer.
I have, of course, purchased and installed the "Numbers" and "Pages" apps on my iPad.

If you save your documents to iCloud then you should be able to open and edit them on any of your devices - Mac, iPad and iPhone. I can with mine?

I am not at all familiar with iCloud, I'm afraid...

To go back to the original issues.
This should work for Pages as it does for Numbers.
Touch and hold the Pages document in your email and you should be presented with the "Open in..." panel.

What part of this isn't working?
