Hey there
I am considering bying a "AirPort Extreme Base Station", but I have to figure out if it is possible to attach a portable harddrive to it, and use it as an open FTP server... meaning, so that I can access it from anywhere and from both Mac and PC computers?
I think I have figured out that you can do this and access it from the me.com account, but that would only make it possible to use it as a "storage device" from my own Macs (and not really interested in the me.com account anyway!)... not as a mean of transfering large files between different computers!
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
