Hi,

I want to change my macbook's hard drive.

I found the following drive:

Seagate Momentus 7200.2 120GB ST9120823AS 2.5" 7200RPM SATA 8MB Cache HDD

- Rotational Speed: 7,200 RPM
- Capacity: 120GB
- Average Read Seek Time: 11.0 ms
- Buffer: 8MB
- Interface: SATA 3Gb/s
- 5 year manufacturer's warranty

However, i don't know if my macbook supports the SATA 3Gb/s interface.

Can anyone tell me this?

Many thx,

Nuno

Yes, although it will likely only work in 150Mb/s mode - not a big deal, however, since no hard drive currently made can even saturate a PATA/133 bus.
