It has shut down on me, unexpectedly, 10 times in the last 10 minutes. For the most part it happens when 3 or more tabs are open. On the positive side, the pages with flashplayer, which used to load slow, are a lot faster.

By 'new' are you referring to the new 3.2 software update?

I know it doesn't help, but mine updated without a hitch.

MacBook. 2.16Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo. 5G 30GB iPod.
I heard people who have glims installed with the new safari 3.2 update have had similar problems. When having multiple tabs open, safari would close.

That might be the problem?

Safari 3.2 crashes on me constantly also. It doesn't seem to matter if I have only one tab open or several. It also doesn't like SAFT. It will not open at all with SAFT so I uninstalled it. The only other hack that I have running is PithHelmet.

Looks like I'm going back to FireFox until they sort this out. I wish Safari 4 would come out already!

I think I fixed my stability issues. I UnInstalled PithHelmet and SAFT. Now Safari 3.2 seems to be stable, no crashes and it doesn't seem to matter how many tabs are open.

IMO Apple needs to copy FireFox and allow browser Add-On's. I want to add something like Ad-Block Plus to Safari. Come on Apple, what gives????

Go to Safari in the menu bar, and click on Block Pop Up Windows .. simple!

LOL, no it's not that simple. Not every ad is a pop up or pop under. I have been able to reinstall SAFT for Safari 3.2 with no problems. I think PithHelmet was the problem.
