Apple TV 3 does not connect to iTunes Store

After I updated my ATV3 to the latest iOS (5.0.1) less than a month ago, it refuses to connect to the iTunes Store! I've been trying since, almost every day, and I keep getting the same message "iTunes Store is unavailable, try again later".

I can access the store from my other Macs easily. My DSL internet connection is working perfectly and my ATV3 is connected to the internet. Of course I can still access my iTunes library via Home Sharing. I only cannot sign in to the iTunes Store. This is very frustrating.

It was working perfectly just before the iOS update.

Any help please?

Hi,

have you tried any remedial action such as for example re-setting the unit ?

That's what happens when Steve is not around anymore.... ;-)
I hope they issue an update soon. Seems they are aware of the problem.
