Hello, I was wondering is i could get someone to upgrade my harddrive in my 14 inch ibook G4. it only has like 60 GB in it and I need someone that knows what they are doing, i have upgrade and built PC's before but i normally destroy apple products after opening them. If anyone can do it, that'd be great.

Why don't you take it to an authorized Mac dealer and have them do it?

Yeah...the iBook G4's (and iBook G3's) are probably some of the most difficult Apple computers to upgrade. They are an absolute nightmare to take apart (get out the spudger)!!!:(

Like "chscag" mentioned...try taking it to Apple or an authorized Macintosh repair person. You definitely want a person with Apple experience doing it...cause if you take it to a person only familiar with Windows products...they may end up destroying it...since the older iBooks are very hard to take apart.

Good luck,

- Nick
