re-read his post, Rob, particularly the part below the image.

macobsession: sorry to ask the obvious but have you moved or removed the Dictionary app lately?

I'm sure you have but I'll ask anyway. Have you checked the Dictionary preferences to make sure all the other options are still checked?

As much as I'd love to point out a flaw in your logic, I think you're right :p.

Take a look in the preferences. Odds are that the dictionary is simply not selected for use.

I'm talking to Schweb about a way to hide all my posts from you...and perhaps a few chosen others... :Mischievous:

Could be, unless he really has already been in preferences as he says in the first post.

Have to go with Pacifist to reinstall the dictionary app.

Ooopps, guess I'm on that list now? :Lips-Are-Sealed:

Ha - yes - you're moving to the front for pointing out that I didn't read the 5th sentence :Not-Amused: Oh well - obviously isn't causing him that much consternation since he hasn't been back.

Now i see the problem! Its because you "US English" checked in preferences. Pick "British English" and everything will magically work again. ;)

Pacifist is a handy tool for a lot of things, so i'd keep it around if I were you! :)
