resize window

21.5", 3.06 GHz intel Core 2 duo, ATI Radeon HD 4670 graphics with 256MB
Is there a way to make it so that I can resize a window by clicking on the side instead of the bottom right corner?

The Green button Top Left takes it back to last size - try that.

Not that I know off. The 'grab-handle' on OSX windows is just the bottom-right corner as oppose to the whole frame like windows. It's irritating a little at first when you're getting used to it but after a while you won't miss it.
