Im just curious to find out how you guys shave, how often and your recommendations on what to use.

I have tried using a fusion multi blade razor and a normal single blade razor. Im thinking of getting This Electric razor as im sure it would be much easier to shave in the mornings when im half asleep and cant be bothered to wet shave.

What are these electric razors like, how often do you have to change the razor blade bit inside?

I use the Gillette Fusion with Nivea for Men "sensitive" cream.. I don't care how many blades are on it, I have a 5'oclock shadow at the end of the day.

I've never used a high-end electro shaver before, so I can't say anything about that, except the fact that cheap ones tear my face apart and give me mad razor burn.

I also use the Gillette Fusion with Gillette Sensitive Skin shaving cream. I get a closer shave with that than with any Electric I have tried including Remington and Norelco.

Depends on the needs. If I'm looking forward to a romantic evening with the wife, definitely wet ... it provides a closer, smoother finish. But if I'm just going to work, I use the electric ... it's faster.

I always use an electric.... but in all fairness I don't get five o'clock shadows so the electric is plenty close enough for me. Quick and easy.... since I am not a morning person!

This is true, but I still use my Remington R-600 just because I got it for less then 50% the original price otherwise I would still be using my Fusion that i got for free from Gillette.

Traditional, by far.

Although, I usually take a Mach 3 and dry shave.

Closest you can get! Burns like a mofo though.

Consider yourself lucky. I shave twice a day usually. Must be something genetic. The more hair I lose on my head, the faster and more hair grows everywhere else (except my back - got lucky in that regard, I guess).

Anyway, I use a Braun Activator self-cleaning electric razor. It's easily the best electric I've ever used, and I've tried everything (Remington, 4 or 5 different Norelcos, you name it). So far, this one has held up for about 18 months, which is pretty amazing (I usually go through about 1 per year). I did have to put a new cutter block/foil once so far. Oh, and the cleaning cartridges need to be changed about once every other month. Beats the heck out of disposable razor/cartridges IMO, although I do use them now and then (on special occasions, when I can't shave as often as I'd like to).

Yeah, sometimes I wonder if one of my ancestors cross-bred with an ape ;D

Really, I could start my own wig factory with as much hair as I produce!
