I am considering an addition to my current set up by buying a Mac Pro desktop, but I have a couple of questions (sorry if they sound a bit stupid)

1. I currently use Adobe CS Creative suite and I keep reading how slow Photoshop CS runs via Rosetta. Can anyone tell me whether I would see a large step forward from what I have now (1.5 GHz and 1.25GB ram). I'm looking at the standard set-up for the Mac Pro from the Apple website (2.66 Ghz)

2. I also run Microsoft Office 2004 - any problems there??

Thanks in advance

1. Testers claim that photoshop CS2 via rossetta on a mac pro 2.66Ghz runs at the exact same speed as a powermac 2.3 dualcore g5 would run it. So thats not exactly slow.

2. I use office 2004. It takes a little bit longer to open, but it works perfectly.
