How did you set the TC up?
Is the Netgear modem also a router ?

I setup the TC using the airport utility and just followed the prompts. The netgear is apparently adsl2+ and is not a router. I have noticed a few times that the no Internet signal LED has illuminated however it is not all the time.

Did you try re-booting both the modem and your TC ?

How were you set up before the Time Capsule? I assume everything worked then.

It seemed to. I just bought a new home. So new service, new area, well new everything. When it was cable directly into the Mac it was fine however I never really tested it out because I was renovating, so I was never online for more than roughly 20 minutes.

Try manually selecting a channel instead of auto and set encryption for WPA2.
