i'm currently running Mac OS X 10.6.6 on my MacBook... and while it does not directly gives me issues it does indirectly; iTunes music works, but when i try the App store it crashes and well... that's why i was considering a downgrade, so my question is is there a way without losing stuff and will my apps remain untouched + working ?

Thanks!

I thought 10.6.5 was just released? Man, I gotta get out more often.

You shouldn't be discussing a developer's release of 10.6.6 in this forum. If you're a developer and have legally received 10.6.6, you really need to discuss any bugs or other findings with Apple, not us.

Seems to me if you are an actual developer and if you received an official copy from Apple then they should be able to help you better than any of us can. Don't they have a process for dealing with this sort of thing?

It's pretty simple..

If you were meant to have 10.6.6, you were given access to it and it's also assumed that you know how to get rid of it should the need arise..

We can't help you beyond that..

Regards

Safari Update

Did any of u figure it out, because I really need to downgrade cause it wont let me install Safari 5.0.3. It says it requires Mac OS 10.6.5. Even though it should say requires Mac OS 10.6.5 or later it doesn't. So that means Safari 5.0.3 is not compatible with Mac OS 10.6.6.

See replies above. 10.6.6 was released to developers not to the public. If you're a developer then you should know how to remove it.

PS. And this is WHY 10.6.6 hasn't been released to the public, and WHY it's foolish to mess around with betas when you're not a developer. Hopefully you'll have learned something here.

No kidding. They don't seem to understand what don't talk about betas not released to public means. if you don't know how to fix it you probably shouldn't have it. If you shouldn't have it you probably got it illegally and thus should still not be posted on this forum. Don't know the answer? Contact the source!

For the love of God, so you obviously pirated a beta of 10.6.6. You want to be cool enough that you can play with the latest and greatest toys, but you still haven't figured out how to restore your computer from a time machine backup yet? Too funny.
