My deleted mailbox seems to have disappeared, and when I attempt to delete messages from my Inbox, I get a message saying, "The message could not be moved to the mailbox Deleted Messages-Email". Does anyone know how to restore it?

I don't know, but...

you could try a fresh com.apple.mail.plist file.

You'll find that in your Home folder(house icon) > Library > Preferences.
Drag it out onto your Desktop for safekeeping.
Fire up Mail.
If the problem is gone, delete the file you moved, it is corrupt.
A new one was created in the Preferences folder, set to defaults.

If that fails, try using Mail from a different User Account. If the problems go away, your other account is corrupt.

Still looking for fix

I have the same problem. Moving the file to the DT changed nothing.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks
