I'm rarely in the parking lot hen my wife picks me up from work. To combat this she sends an Message when leaving home one upon entering the lot. Both of the wheelchair ramps were blocked by vehicles which led to the following exchange:

What I meant to type: :Both ramps blocked".
What I think I typed "Both ttramps blocked"
iPhone aurotocorrect thinks I meant: "Birth tyrannosaur blocked"

Sadly I don't remember seeing a tyrannosaur. Birth of otherwise.

Don't know about the rest of the guys but I'm curious about these "awkward" moments.

What gets me is that at some time you must of typed tyrannosaur as doesn't autocorrect remember those sort of things, as in if you misspell a word on purpose and you hit the x the get rid of the autocorrect it remembers the word for next time ??
Sooooo i wonder why you Sly are talking about dinosaurs and to whom ?? LOL

Nothing specific but just a few "oh no, hurry and assure them that was autocorrect!" moments.

Don't remember ever typing that word - even in autocorrect. Not sure though since I rarely pay attention to the autocorrects. Mine are usually a bit more mundane than this.

As long as they weren't to Mum or Dad with potential of giving them a heart attack.

I sent a quick one to my Mum once and she rang me straight away giving me a spanking over then phone until i told her it was autocorrect lol

Too many...
Man...autocorrect messes me up all the time, both on Mac and on iOS devices. The way it messes up such EASY mistakes, or purposely spelled wrong words, really ticks me off some times...especially when it comes to writing for pathology and other medical topics.

A similar thing happened at work the other day. Someone misspelled "masonry" and spell check turned it into "missionary". I think that one comes from a common mispronunciation.

Well as long as "position" wasn't also in the autocorrected text, you should be OK..:)

Someone on the forum wondered about an errant spell check for misspelling laceration awhile back. (It was a long story about a finger, the ER, etc.) I suggested perhaps lactation. That could be a doozie!
