Mac Mini behaving oddly

I have a Mac Mini that's almost 3 years old, running OS X Snow Leopard. Recently when coming out of sleep mode my screen goes on & off at about 2 second intervals. I shut down the machine for 12-15 hours & when I turn it back on everything's fine. Am I doomed?

Since you say that your Mac-Mini (after having this problem)...works fine after 12-15 hours...my first thought is over-heating.

It's possible that your Mac-Mini may be dirty inside (fan may be clogged with dirt/fuzz)...so it may need a good cleaning.
