Mac OS X corrupt or damage files?

hey all so I deleted many things cause my mac was slow not thinking it would mess up my Mac book so now safari won't let me open it also system preferences won't let me it says file may be corrupted or damaged? I tried recovery tools i dont know what to do I've factory reset it but nothin any help?

What do you mean by Factory Reset it? What exactly did you do?

Which version of OSX do you have and which MacBook?

Well, that might have been smart but dumb. ;)

Did you delete anything in your System folder?

The general rule is never delete anything you're not absolutely positive won't mess something up.
