When I double-click an image file, especially JPGs, I prefer that it be opened by Photoshop, rather than Preview or Color Sync Utility.

Also, when I want to "Edit Original" from a link in InDesign, even with Photoshop open, most of the time, the OS launches Preview.

Can I set a preference somewhere to make this happen?

Thanks, Bill

Can't answer your InDesign question but as for the file association, right click a JPG > Get Info > Open With > change the app to Photoshop > "Change All...". It's possible that this may also answer your InDesign question if InDesign depends on system wide file associations.
