From what i have just read about this SSD is its used in conjunction WITH another HD being the one in your Mac or another SSD. The reason it is so small, is because its used as a Cached SSD, meaning, your Mac HD does all the work, and the SSD is used to save/cache certain data from what the Mac HD is processing.
Have a read of this review in OverClockers and look at the system Requirements. It talks Windows ?? So with the Software on the SSD to Connect it to a HD is DataPlex or similar.
Also read this too and you make a decision. Personally i would be looking for something like
this OWC 44GB SSD or
this OWC 120GB SSD or
OWC 60GB SSD ALL from a Mac reputable seller. I would pay $109 for a OWC than $60 for a brand im not comfortable with
EDIT : I highly recommend this seller and even the KINGSTON Brand is a good Mac brand. OWC test ALL their hardwre before they sell it, and from personal experience, they have very good customer service and very good return policy.
I use the Aust Equivalent and i returned a broken SlimDrive for a Superdrive and i emailed them, and they put the money for the postage into my account, and sent me out a new one before the old one was there, because i sent it registered post, and gave them the tracking number.
OWC work like this as well.
