i dont have no mac's
you even built the perfect ledge for him to stand on!!!!!!!

squirrels will get into anything like that....i suggest you move that into the middle of your backyard and get one of those funny funnel things that go around the pole...they work well but the random squirrel might still circumvent it with their magical powers

Just joking, I don't condone blasting critters unless they're shooting at me.

I have the same troubles. I really got into bird watching, and yes I'm too young to be into bird watching. My backyard is a haven. I've got 5 feeders now and a bird bath. They're always birds back there but I constantly see the "tree rats" getting the birds' food. I have some feeeders that are more secure but I think its just cuz the squirrels are too lazy to futz with the more difficult feeders.

Awsesome picture by the way.

My aunt has the same problem with squirrels getting into the bird feeders, she said if she usually keeps 1 or 2 ears of corn out and about the squirrels go for the corn and leave the bird feeder alone.

She also mentioned that the blue jays aren't afraid of the squirrel and dive bomb them, it was quite funny to see it in action!
