i was actually so disinterested in writing a paper once, i wrote a paper about why the assignment was such utter crap, picking apart every point about the assignment at hand. this was for a foreign literature class. i got an A. ;)

LOL, I've done that. I had a professor who was really smart and really fair, but I couldn't stand his opinions, so I wrote a paper respectfully refuting the premise of the paper. I, too, got an A.

i'm pretty sure with the amount of cookie cutter garbage they receive year in and year out that when someone questions them with some insight and ideas of their own, they welcome that as a student really giving the assignment some thought, even if the student disagrees with the premise.

Agreed.

oh, i also once corrected a teacher in class and got paid in that classes currency (callard and bowser butterscotch - yum!) for my efforts.

the teacher (history) said that on a standard globe in our classroom - about 20" to 2' diameter, you wouldn't even be able to feel any contours from mountains and the oceans. i did some quick calculations that i estimated you'd be able to feel at least something like a hair on a table in some of the more extreme altitudes and depths on the planet.
he paid up, but also backpedaled and said that what he meant was that they would not be in such exagerated relief as they are on most globes.

LOL, it's a bit like a road map. If the lines that represent the highways were to scale, then our highways would be hundreds of lanes wide or probably more.

i dont see the problem with this.

That's the problem.

There's no alternative to hard work.

If you do this and get away with it you'll just keep trying to find easy ways to get out of doing things.

I've started on several short stories and essays that I might submit somewhere. If it works out and I get rich, I'll buy everyone in here a top of the line Mac Pro. BTW, I won't write a paper for you, sorry.

Edit: Take that Mac Pro offer as sarcasm unless I get really, super rich.

You won't get rich. You certainly won't get really, super rich. I've had three novels published in the US and Canada and the UK and Commonwealth and I still have to work 10 hours a day on other stuff.

A friend of mine wrote superb, critically acclaimed novels for 40 years and didn't really make much money until a Hollywood director made a film of one of his books, which was released last year. (It was the number one film in the US the week of its release.) Now his career's taken an upturn.

But that doesn't mean you shouldn't give it a go. Read On Writing by Stephen King – it's probably the most inspiring and educational book and writer could read.

Just keep hitting the keys (rather than getting someone else to do it  )

i dont see the problem with this. in no way will writing a literary research paper for 11th grade affect my future, so theres no chance of me ending up working in a fast food "career."

General rule of thumb, sport ... 11th graders don't have the foggiest idea what will and won't affect their future.

why do i need negative rep for this. it was a simple question.

Lesson for today: even simple things can have consequences. But don't sweat it, in no way will getting some negative rep affect your future, right?

i did not ask for a lesson on ethics.

You didn't ask for the essay assignment, either. I see a trend.

i understand cheating is bad but can anyone honestly say they haven't cheated once in their life or at least thought about it. if i deserve negative rep for contemplating cheating, so does everyone else on this forum who has ever had even a fleeting thought that they should cheat.

Ah ... still haven't learned the lesson, I see. OK, here is some more detail: there is a difference between a thought flying through your head, and going into a huge public forum and saying "can anyone help me cheat, please?"

i feel this negative rep is undeserved and would like to ask that it be removed on the basis of the argument i made above.

So you get negative rep for coming on here asking other people to take care of your work for you, and now you're asking for other people to save you from the consequences.

Perhaps we need to revisit that "I don't need a lesson in ethics" part one more time ...

I'm too lazy to post a thoughtful response explaining how spending the time looking for this kind of service, paying someone for a manufactured cut and paste paper and still failing are not worth the effort. And how if you're planning to go onto higher education you are going to be writing papers left and right that you may not be completely passionate about, but it's gotta get done anyway so might as well not be a total wiener and do the work.

Seriously, you're a high school student. Your responsibilities are cleaning your room and going to school. Just write the paper! Take some pride in your work...

Any who...
Does anyone know of a service that will do this post for me?

Yeah, I was a bit sarcastic when I said all of that. My main focus is accounting.
