while doing some dishes. I know it's a bad idea to keep electronics around water, but I like to flip through songs when I doing housework. I was so frantic to get it out that I didn't find it in the soapy water for about 10 seconds!

Luckily, it's still working after about an hour, so hopefully it will continue to do so. I don't know if these things are waterproof, but it seems to be in this case!! Thanks Apple!!!

Usually, you can drop low-powered electronics in water, let them dry and they will work again. As long as you get it out pretty quick, I usually take out the battery, and then let it dry out real well.
