- I'm thinking different... iMac, Macbook, iPod Touch, 10.5 - Leopard
I've only been on the mac for a couple months now and I feel like I'm neglecting my computer. On my old HP I had to do a virus scan, system defrag, etc weekly.
Is there anything like that I can do to keep my apple in good shape?

Well, you can run disk repair and fix permissions. You can use an App like Cocktail to run regular UNIX maintenance (Cron scripts etc) on the OS, clean the cache etc. I rarely do it, but you can if it makes you feel better. It's probably good to do it regularly, but a large number of us don't and don't have any real obvious side effects.
