    Close to 18 years ago.

    Hi Vansmith,

Thank you. How do I delete it. For some reason I can only edit it.

    Thanks.

Like has been mentioned. OS 8 is from the 1990's. A little bit late to be complaining about an OS that old!

Maybe you're thinking about "iOS8"?? And if this is the case…you shouldn't have posted in "Schweb's Lounge"…but in the iOS area.

Guys, It has been a hard day ..... but I like this thread already. :-)
I wonder what an " Os8 Disappointment " looks like ... I might have one without knowing it.
    Seeing that it is with a capital ' D ' , .... should I be worried ?

    Cheers ... McBie
A computer lets you make more mistakes faster than any invention in human history - with the possible exceptions of handguns and tequila.
The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.

Assuming that the OP is talking about iOS8…how can there be so much disappointment for an iOS that hasn't even been released yet?? Jeez!

Maybe iOS8? Who knows. Nick where is your crystal ball? Have to keep asking and asking mate!!!
Hang on to those original install discs like grim death! Using OS X.7 or later make a bootable USB thumb drive before running Installer!
