A very warm welcome to yo Emily. Lots of good advice available here and the more detail you provide, the better it gets.

Welcome aboard. Glad to have a new face in the crowd. I moved your post to the welcome area. Sometimes posts kinda get lost in the switcher forum.

Hi, I'm Donald and I'm from Dallas, Texas. I'm a newbie to MAC and joint Mac-forums and I am happy to be a part of it. I posted my first ever message on how I felt after using Final Cut pro and I am loving it even more.

Welcome Donald. I gotta get a few more residents of the bayou state in here or I'm going to be outnumbered by the Texas contingent.

BTW I used an earlier version of Final Cut aimed a bit more at prosumers (Final Cut Express). Never really got the hang of it. If I decide to move from iMovie to Final Cut you may get a few questions. Hope you speak video editing numbskull.

Hello, my name is Haggai, I'm a long time PC\Windows user, I'm going to move on to a MacBook Pro soon(I'm waiting for the 2018 models to arrive to my area).
I have zero experience with Mac machines, currently I'm here to learn, hopefully I could help others at some point.
I wish I will have a smooth transition from PC to Mac.
